Following their collaboration on 2005’s critically acclaimed film Brick, director Rian Johnson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are back working together again in this action Sci-Fi feature.
In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels.

If you can’t wait until the 21st to watch David Fincher’s adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s ‘Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’, then this should keep you going for a while longer. Reznors released a 6-track sampler as well as the full tracklist for the film’s soundtrack. You can download the sampler here.
The Oscar winner along with his ‘The Social Network’ partner Atticus Ross spent the past year scoring 39-songs to accompany the movie, the soundtrack includes a cover of Led Zepplin’s ‘Immigrant Song’ with vocals from Karen O. Of his experience scoring for this film, Reznor had the following to say.
